At Factoz, your privacy is fundamental to how we operate. We are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with internationally recognized data protection principles, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We collect only what is necessary to deliver our service — and we never sell or share your data.

1. WHO WE ARE

Factoz ("we", "our", "us") is a financial content automation platform operated from the Republic of Panama. For privacy inquiries, contact privacy@factozcentral.com.

2. WHAT WE COLLECT

We collect the minimum data necessary to operate the platform:

Account information: your name and email address, provided at registration.
Usage data: feature interactions and API call logs, used for service improvement and abuse prevention.
Payment references: transaction IDs and subscription status from payment providers. We never store full card numbers or crypto private keys — payment data is handled exclusively by Whop and NowPayments.
Content inputs: tickers, captions, and media you submit when using Factoz tools, solely to process and return results to you.

We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising. We do not collect IP addresses for identification purposes.

3. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

Authenticate your account and maintain your session
Deliver the features and tools you request
Send transactional emails (account access, payment receipts, service notices)
Detect and prevent fraud or abuse
Improve platform performance and reliability

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the service.

4. WHAT WE NEVER DO

We never sell your personal data to any third party.
We never share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
We never use your financial content or trading data to train AI models or share with market participants.
We never store full payment card numbers or crypto wallet private keys.
We never send marketing emails to you without your explicit opt-in.

5. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

We use a limited number of trusted third-party providers to deliver our service. Each is governed by their own privacy policy:

Railway — cloud hosting and infrastructure
PostgreSQL (Railway) — encrypted database storage
Cloudinary — image hosting and transformation
Resend — transactional email delivery
Whop — card subscription payment processing
NowPayments — cryptocurrency payment processing
Anthropic (Claude) — AI caption generation (inputs are not used to train models per Anthropic's API terms)
Google Analytics — anonymous website traffic analytics on factoz.online

We share only the minimum data each provider needs to perform their function.

6. DATA STORAGE & SECURITY

All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections.
Database access is restricted by role-based authentication.
We apply industry-standard security practices to protect data at rest and in transit.
In the event of a data breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you within 72 hours of becoming aware.

7. DATA RETENTION

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you close your account or request deletion, we will permanently delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g. payment records for tax compliance, which are retained for 5 years).

8. YOUR RIGHTS

You have the right to:

Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Correction — request correction of inaccurate data.
Deletion — request deletion of your account and associated data.
Portability — request your data in a machine-readable format.
Objection — object to processing of your data for specific purposes.

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@factozcentral.com. We will respond within 30 days.

9. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Factoz is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we become aware that a minor has provided data, we will delete it promptly.

10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
